The pair of musicians is ready to share their much-awaited sixth studio album, and they’re making sure that their listeners will be mesmerized with their new tracks when they take it to Metro Music Hall on Monday, 12th October 2026! It is one of their most awaited tour shows this year, and they keep proving that they’re ready for the Big World with their growing catalog!
As a frequent and in-demand touring act, the indie pop number has joined shows of several notable other artists, including MJ Lenderman, Pinegrove, and Cold War Kids. This year, they’re also supporting Bleachers and Wilco on the iconic band’s respective tours. It is indeed a Big World, like the name of Hovvdy’s newest full-length work, and we can navigate it with their impressive music! This year, the Hovvdy Tour 2026 will be a worldwide trek for the passionate artists. They have released the album’s first single called Try Try Try, and it is another hit among their loyal listeners! When they described this new era, they anchored it to how they approached their last record, which for them “felt like such a generous offering: a double-album, deeply personal”. This time, they want Big World to be different by taking “on the challenge of making something more concise and to the point”. The goal of this new album, which will be released around two months before this show, is to share a tracklist with their fans that “feels like a shorter but more exciting ride”.
Perhaps the magic of Hovvdy comes from the camaraderie and mutual artistic respect between Will Taylor and Charlie Martin. For Will, there was never a question between the two of them whenever they created songs. He describes the collaboration as a very positive experience, mentioning how they “can always show up and not have to worry about the music”. The two have earned an enthusiastic community of listeners, producing albums like Easy/Turns Blue, True Love, and billboard for my feelings. They are also known for their popular tracks like Blindsided, Ruby, and Junior Day League. Their catalog currently records 18 singles and five EPs, and it will surely grow with more work as the two continue to perform alongside other artists!
